PostSubject: Rules and Regulations   Thu Dec 11, 2008 9:45 am

Participation on the Forum implies acceptance of all rules and regulations, both those below and those to which all members agree when completing registration.

All Members of this forum must at least 14 years of age

******************************

We recognise that no rule can possibly apply to all situations so all cases will be considered on their individual merits and circumstances. Any penalty imposed will be at the discretion of the Moderator or Administrator after all circumstances have been considered.

In the case of contravention of any rule a formal warning will be issued by a Moderator or Administrator by Private Message. In the case that this warning is not heeded and the member continues to flout the rules, a second and final warning will be issued. If this final warning is ignored that member will be either suspended for a specified period or banned permanently without further warning or notice.

******************************

(1) Members shall not personally attack any member by Username or personal name in the public forums. A personal attack is where a post is personally derogatory and where it is directed towards any member by name. Please note that we do have a private messaging system and this can be used for communications of a personal nature. Please also note that a simple disagreement with a post or idea is not regarded as a personal attack because disagreement is the basis of discussion. Penalty: Warning to ban depending on the severity and frequency.

(2) In the case of disagreement with a Moderator's decision a member shall first contact the Moderator by private message stating their disagreement and await a reply. If the member still disagrees with the Moderator's decision after receiving a reply or in the case of no reply being given, the member shall have the right to appeal to an Administrator by private message whose decision will be final and binding upon both the Moderator and the member.

(3) Members shall not post disagreements about a Moderator's or Administrator's decision in the public forums but shall contact the Moderator or Administrator by private message according to the provisions of rule (2).

(4) Members shall not post in any public forum the content of Private Messages nor emails nor instant messenger conversations nor any translation of them without the permission of a moderator or an administrator.

(5) DIDZONE may be accessed by children (guests). Therefore, profanity and discussions of an "adult" nature are to be limited. Members are asked not post certain things which include both the written word and images including avatars, which may be offensive to others. Please remember 'rudeness' is a matter of opinion. If you are offended by something contact a moderator. Pornography will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form and may result in an immediate ban.

(6)Members can register for multiple memberships- we understand that can be unavoidable . Note: if you are an alter or multiple of a member allready let us know in the welcome section

(7) Members shall post reasonably on topic to the discussion and the forum. This means that new topics shall be relevant to the subject of the forum and all posts in a topic shall be relevant to that topic. Moderators may move posts they believe to be in the wrong forum.

(Cool Members shall refrain from using names of businesses or individuals in anything other than a positive way. Although it is recognized that feelings can run high when bad service is experienced, the staff here have no way of assertaining whether or not criticism is justified.

Please Note: Hotlinking of images from this site or from another is not permitted - Thank you. http://altlab.com/hotlinking.html

A Reminder:

These are the terms to which you agreed upon registration:

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. This is not only humorous, but legal actions can be taken against you. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate to this forum.

Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of posts on this forum. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of this forum. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this forum immediately. We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum. We at this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we have about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any information posted by you.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another member, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another member's account to post messages or browse this forum.

After you register and log into this forum, you can fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information we deem inaccurate or vulgar will be removed.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

You are solely responsible for any and all attachments that you post to this forum. You may not post files to this forum which contain copyrighted material that you do not have permission from the author to post.

*****

You also agree to the entire ProBoards.com Terms of Service including:

"1. User's content must comply in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws of the State of California and the US Federal Government.

2. User's web site may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity.

3. User's message board and Web site must be in English."

*****

Please Note:

1. As noted on the forum, we ask that all new members make a brief introductory post in the "Hello" board within 48 hours of registration in order to ensure their accounts remain active.

2. Any member not logging in for a period of three months will be deemed to have left and the account will be deleted. Please post in the "Absences" board if you wish to keep your account active.

We delete inactive accounts as we have no wish to send out mass-emails to any member who no longer wishes to participate. Any member wishing to receive mass-emails (should these be necessary), please ensure your accounts are activated via your profile page.

If you have any questions regarding the above rules and regulations, please feel free to contact either Admin or any Global Moderator who will be pleased to answer them.

Thank you.
